Minnesota State Arts Board

The Minnesota State Arts Board is a state agency that stimulates and encourages the creation, performance, and appreciation of the arts in the state.

Perpich Center for Arts Education

Our mission is to provide all Minnesota students the opportunity to develop and integrate their artistic and academic abilities to their highest potential. We do this by teaching in and through the arts.


At COMPAS it's our mission to help people stay that way. We are working to inspire people, both one-on-one and as a community, through the hands-on act of creating art. Why do we do it? Because, when we nurture the creative part of our minds we are better suited to not only survive in this world, but thrive. COMPAS impacts people of all ages with innovative, art-filled learning. We open the door for people to take risks, try something new, and to learn and grow as they work side-by-side with Minnesota's most talented artists.

Springboard for the Arts

Springboard for the Arts’ mission is to cultivate vibrant communities by connecting artists with the resources they need to make a living and a life.


VSA Minnesota's mission is to create a community where people with disabilities can learn through, participate in and access the arts.

Minnesota Citizens for the Arts

Minnesota Citizens for the Arts (MCA) is a statewide arts advocacy organization that organizes the arts community to lobby the Minnesota State Legislature and Congress. Our mission is to ensure opportunity for all people to have access to and involvement in the arts.

Women's Art REsources of Minnesota

WARM connects emerging and professional women artists, encouraging them to create and exhibit art and to increase their participation in the art world. As a catalyst for women artists to assist each other in achieving their goals, WARM promotes and provides advocacy and assistance for its member’s projects. Membership is open to all who support WARM’s mission, whether you are an artist or not.

We believe that music is basic to the human experience. The study of music allows us to develop aesthetic sensitivity, self-expression and creativity; to build community; to preserve and honor cultural heritages; and to celebrate life. MMEA's mission is high quality music education for every student.
