You can write articles to the Art Exchange newsletter, submit events and happenings/research content for the Art Express e-newsletter, help update posts on social media, currently we are especially looking for someone to write articles on current events/trends and issues to submit to the EDMn publication and help with website tasks. Even just an article or two a year is helpful for either publication!
The charge of the Communications committee shall be to publish information about AEM in physical and digital media in order to keep the organization visible, viable, and vital.

You can help manage the finances for AEM. This can include for the organization as a whole or for different events, portions, and/or committees.
It shall be the charge of the Finance committee to handle all fiscal, contractual, tax and legal obligations and activities of the organization.

It shall be the charge of Professional Development to provide meaningful growth opportunities to our members and others interested in art education though conferences and other AEM-sponsored activities.

AEM’s ED&I Task Force is dedicated to helping AEM break down barriers & make necessary changes to be inclusive & just for all. Im so doing, we work to decolonize AEM and all that it offers. This includes being an outspoken voice in meetings, communications, and events as well as helping guide others towards starting their journeys within their lives, classroom, curriculum, and/or schools.
As this is a newer task force, the sky is the limit as to what we can do. Here are some of our goals:
